Just checking to see who will be around for the Ohiopyle Falls Race this weekend? I'll be there and if you are interested in paddling the Lower after the race, or practice runs, I'm available to show the river if your not familar with it - let me know! The river can be done in two sections: Loop (1 mile) or whole Lower (8 miles).

By the way C boaters take center spot on the Falls Race web site. with an OC1 on center left (not sure who - any ideas) and C1 (Dale Briggs) center right. Nice pics! http://www.americanwhitewater.org/~matt ... asses.html

Check out the site for items of interest including a 8 X 4 X 4 TRIATHLON!

PAC,
The OC-1 in the picture is our very own Mark Pavkovich. That picture shows up quite often in publications and he never gets credit.

Well....

I thought that was Mr. "No tan lines" (yes folks it's a long and sorted story)!
He always makes things look too easy! 8)
Are you coming over to the race - we missed you a couple weeks ago!

I'll be there with the Esquif Demo Fleet

Looking forward to meeting more of the Cboats.net crew.

Going from there to support NOC's Canoe week, then hit the Ocoee/Chatooga, some other fun before heading back up to the Gauley Fest.

There's a chance we might have a proto of the new Torreau at the Gauley Fest... we'll see...

See you there!

David,

I am really interested in that new creek OC1 from Esquif. Can you post any stats or pictures for it or post any links to sites where I could find any info about it.

Thanks!

PAC,
I'm watching the rain. I hate to jinks it but I'm afraid the rain might wash out the race. Although it's just beginning to show up on the river gauges, at 7p roads are closed in Beaver Co. due to smaller streams coming out of their banks.

Well...
