I paddle a kingpin 6.3 (more refined g-force) and it's pretty sweet
pros:
-it's fairly easy to initiate (at least for me, I'm ~215-220 and so pushing the weight limit), and pretty stable on end
-I'm still working on pumping it (need a lap belt for keep from coming off the saddle), but I'm told it makes and excellent boat for aerials
-weighs next to nothing, expecially if you use all foam-block outfitting (rather than the dagger console or something beefier)
-really really really easy to roll, provided you're not in a bunch of squirrely stuff in which case you might do an unintentional bowstall instead, keeps ya on your toes!
-joe stumpfel used to paddle one, so it's gotta be good!
cons:
-slow as hades, and since I'm pushing the weight limit so much, it doesn't have a great deal of primary or secondary stability
-I tend to get pushed over when I try to run through wavetrains like double trouble and tablesaw on the ocoee, which mostly has to do with my skill I think, but the boat tends to try to go through things rather than up and over them too (also a function of my weight I think)
-I question the durability of the plastic, the bottom is pretty thin and flexes a great deal even with the bolted in support rail, also tends to oilcan
to compare to the gforce:
gforce is shorter supposed to be really easy to loop, but also less stable and just about one of the slowest boats around
to compare to the g-ride
g-ride is more of a river runner, supposed to be a good deal more stable and a little faster, but the volume is more evenly distributed so I imagine it doesn't have as much bounce and isn't quite as easy initiate or keep on end
hope that helps, good luck
