I paddle a Flip-stick. Pretty new to me, 6 or 7 "sessions" Haven't paddled a lot of other playboats, Just a X. and I suck at playboating, so for what it's worth......

This sucker is SLOW, hard to control in pushy water, wobbly, always on end, So basicaly it's a BLAST in easy water :D
Compared to the X, it's about the same in stability, side to side that is, but it tends to bow stall ALL the time when i have to brace or roll. I'm sure this is due to my (sloppy!)technique. It's comfy. Rolls super easy. Very easy to initiate the bow or stern.Flat water tricks are a breeze. Feels great in holes, amazing. Haven't had it on a great wave yet .....it IS slow.

So I would say it's good for play, I have an absolute blast flailing about on the class 3 runs, but it scares me on class 4 :o

i would recommend it
