FYI Shipped a 56lbs WW Canoe

FYI Great price shipped my 10' ww canoe today with DHL (that Yellow truck) - boat wt was 56lbs. cost to ship ground from Philadelphia, PA to Springfield, Mo was $18.57. We were guoted a much higher price - around $75 when talking to DHL by phone got it to the terminal and was pleasantly surprised.
Told me it would take three days we shall see.
C1's will be easier to shiip for sure possibly even cheaper.
Great Rate!!! I wish new boats could ship like that

a few dings don't matter on the used boat, but what a nightmare of a time we have shipping new boats.

Good to hear you've made room for your new Spark! I assume the 10' is the Detonator you were considering selling?

I was able to get to paddle the Spark. JohnKaz brought one to the Tohickong release. Tried it out very, very nice and light. So yes I will be ordering a Spark soon.

not to be redundant, but i did indeed get the detonator in great shape shippe by DHL for $18.75 PA to MO. worth trying by others to see if they have similar experience. thanx, dale... jon
