OK, I have somehow ended up with an orphaned Mohawk Rodeo in my garage, kinda a nice treat considering that it's in pristine shape
I don't want to see this boat go unused but I have no idea about OC rodeo moves and was wondering if anybody could point me to a web site or book that may show me a thing or two. I'm thinking it could be pretty fun....

thrill of the paddle by bill mason(bronze 93 worlds oc rodeo), and mark scriver(more awards than mason.1991-1997or so) has a little pinch on rodeo manuevers, as far as teaching, and learnign them, i dont know if it will be of help as i am not there yet either.

Paul Mason, not his dad.
But I agree, the descriptions in Thrill of the Paddle are pretty good. My Outrage isn't likely to get vertical and flip-around much (partly because of the boat, mostly because I'm still a big suck in holes), but studying the descriptions of rolling in their book almost allowed me to show up at the pool and roll.

The best (actually really the only one...
) is "We designed em!" Good variety, riverrunning, rodeo, creeking, slalom, C1, OC1, C2, OC2, it's got it all!

Thanks Martin, I saw this here, clicked to eBay and within hours owned one for $1 ($CDN 6 w shipping). That's the magic of the Internet right there!
I saw Kent Ford's "Solo Playboating" recently, I trust this new rodeo stuff won't feature a pink Encore.
Cheers, Pat.

Rockin' thanks, I'm kinda excited about getting the boat out on the water. I'm thinking it's going to be a spring-summer project though.

I'm an open-boater just getting interested in C-1, I've paddled around in an Cascade some, and despite the pain in the ankles would like to try a more playful hull.
Is the instructional video "C-1 Challenge" worthwhile??

I just ordered 'The C1 Challenge' yesterday, so I should be able to post a review in a little while.
