width of rival and outrage

Thanks for the returns on kevalar Rival question.
By the way, after reading some of the previous complaints about widith of Rival and more difficulty of cross strokes, I came up with some interesting measurements:
Rival outer to outer wood: 27 inches (Royalite dagger boat). This is a really nice width for cross forward strokes.
My vinly gunnel heavy outrage: 28 inches outer to outer. I know there is some difference between wood and vinly outrage, but I doubt if it really accounts for any difference in ease of cross strokes.
Although all above is kind of moot as most folks seem to prefer harder chined open boats anyway. By the way, the kevlar Rival, as described by KNeal sounds really great.
