With a cross forward?

i always land on my on side, but an offside landing sounds like it could be fun. i'll be playing with that one!

Actually, I lied earlier. If the landing requires a left (offside) stroke I'll land and take that but I usually land an offside boof with an onside stroke (more stability). That said, I will often, as in Frankenstien on the Green, land an onside boof with an offside stroke to make an immediate left turn to avoid a mildly undercut rock. That's one of my favorite moves, the onside boof with the mid-air crossover and offside landing. Mmmmmmm....

I dont know, landing on the offside sounds pretty cool. i dont think ive ever done that before.
you get a similar cool feeling when you punch through a big hole on your cross bow and stay on that side. that is something that you do a lot in slalom. they say, "think of it as a left side and right side, not onside and offside."

I find it pretty hard to land on my off side. However, sometimes I also find it hard to go back to my on side fast enough.
If the boof is not too tall, landing on the off-side is OK I think.
The taller the more important for me to be really forward.
(fucking up a back once is enough)
Alden, I am not quite there yet (thinking about left instead of off-side).
But that would be something like the ultimate goal I guess.
Thanks for the thoughts, Jan
Oh, anyone want to do some Whistler/Squamish creeking this summer?
I am also going to California, to run Mill and Deer Creeks in late April.
Cheers, Jan
