hey everyone i need some suggestions for a helmet i am buying:
i have gotten a sponsorship deal from grateful heads at $50 USD/helmet on blems for my canoe polo team....
but at the same time Shred Ready is offferinf a sponsor for $45 USD/helmet on blems as well

i want to get a helmet i can attach a face mask to but also wear without one in the summer in whitewater, should i go with a ABS helmet that will be light and cheaper, or since i am getting a wicked discount on grateful heads should i go for the kevlar bombproof stylin helmet?

whats your 2 cents?

I'd go for the kevlar composite Grateful Heads. Word is they're about to release a full-face as well. I don't think a facemask would attatch to easily to an ABS helmet, but it might....

I'd go with the grateful heads too- the shred ready feel flimsy to me- I bought my 6 year old a GH for class 1. Your head is worth the $5 extra dollars. (IMO) I think there are two helmets they make that can take a face mask. One is the Hard Hit. I found they run a bit large, my head is 23 3/8 and the ML should be the right size, but I had to add a lot of padding. I wish I got a medium and shaved some foam out.
