Removing busted Kevlar Skid Plates

Post by Steward »

What is the best way to remove old skid plates? I've searched the forum and only found a message stating to chip them off. I'd like to hear what others have done before I start banging away :)

Thanks

Let them wear off or hammer and chisel.

hammer and chisel, definitely.

I just did this about a month ago. it's not too hard.

since you'll take off a good deal of the vinyl pigment layer for sure, you may as well go with ABS for the next one!
