Slots still available for Davey Hearn clinic

There are a few slots still available for the Davey Hearn whitewater clinic being held on Friday, May 13, starting at the feeder canal and taking a run through Little Falls on the Potomac River. Davey will be focusing on technical c-1 whitewater skills with attention given to boat control, paddle stroke techniques (including that elusive "j"-stroke 
), and reading the current dynamics. This clinic is a great place to address paddling stuff such as the cross-current issue that Larry Horne has brought up. This is not a slalom-specific clinic, but these skills definitely apply to whitewater running, so we may take advantage of using some of the slalom gates while we are there.
