May 7, 8- 48th Annual Hudson River Whitewater Derby

Yup, it's that time of the year again. Slalom race on Sat. (novice and giant slaloms, different courses for them and Open Boat class), downriver race on Sunday, both starting at 11 am (registration starts earlier if you haven't pre-registered). Good folks and plenty of trophies 
If you're interested in FREE camping about 20 min from the Derby in a beautiful, remote location (with outhouse and running water) please let me know! The road is in better shape than years past, thankfully, though you'll need to "know" your vehicle to make the first hill without sweating your ground clearance too much:)
