I know this might be a longshot...but (unless I'm mistaken) there's a release on the Lehigh (in PA) on the weekend of the Armada. Folks are currently talking about doing the Lower Yough Sunday...but I'd be interested in driving to the Lehigh instead. It's a bit of a haul from the North Branch...but it's a lot closer to home for people coming down from points north (e.g. NY and New England).

Any interest? Am I crazy?

PS - I'm partly interested in the Lehigh because it's a great class 2-3 run (same difficulty level as the North Branch), but also because my girlfriend can paddle it...whereas the Lower Yough is too much for her at this point.

I might be up for joining you...being a bit farther north is appealing for Sunday .

Cool Adam...PAC said he might be up for going too. Anyone else? We could always split into two groups if some people still want to do the Lower Yough. Then again, KNeal sounded like he was looking for some folks to do the Yough on Friday...so you could make it a 3-river weekend!

The Lehigh is a beautiful river---every bit as scenic as the North Branch, and slightly smaller in width.

Sure, we can work it out Saturday (and confirm Lehigh releases).

I just checked the map. The Lehigh is farther North than I want to be on Sunday afternoon. Y'all have fun. I vote for either the Lower Yough or even repeating the North Branch.
