Seventh Annual American Whitewater Ohiopyle Over the Falls Festival
August 27-28, 2005

From the organizer....
This will be the 7th year for this event and this year promises more activities in addition to whitewater paddlers running the Ohiopyle Falls on the Youghiogheny River. Here is a sample of the events we have scheduled: You can run the Falls Saturday and Sunday. Race and Free-Style competition takes place on Saturday but you can just run the falls if you want. There are numerous competition categories. You get a discount for pre-registering by August 18th. We also need plenty of volunteers and have discounts and T-shirts for you. Being a volunteer is part of the fun. In addition, there will be a town party, falls under the lights, film festival, silent auction, live music and food. We have also added the Annual Upstream Race on Entrance rapid on Saturday evening.
