Has anyone tried a Perception 3D? I am after a boat with a bit more volume than my AMP, but I still want to be able to spin and cartwheel. I just can't think of anything else that would do and I'm on a tight buget so can't afford to buy too newer modle. I weight 77kg and about 1.81m tall. Any ideas would be great.
Thanks Wayne :D

No sure on the 3D (been a while since I've seen one) but a friend of mine had one as a K and hated it compared to the AMP.
Of course one of the concerns would be the width at the cockpit and for the knees to spread.
As for the budget the foreplay, EZ series or Z might be worth looking at since some can be found on the cheap now ($300 range) if you don't mine gutting it form a K.
You might also have to smash the likes of the Z to get the play (based on your size) but the more volume the more work required to get the play going!
Not sure if that helps! Best of luck.

A friend of mine went from an ME to a Gyramax to a Whiplash to a 3D to an Amp. I had a chance to try the 3D - it worked fine, plenty stable, the stern went in fine, but the bow wouldn't sink near as easy. Since you are looking for more volume, that might be the ticket. You should be able to get one cheap. Though there may be better choices in the same price range...
