Has anyone converted a Prijon T-slalom to C1?
whould it be OK for an OC1 paddler to try?

I think the T-slalom would be a pretty horrible conversion. I'd just look for a Cascade if you want a stable C1 that would be friendly to an Openboater. That's the best one out there, for sure.
If you do convert the T-slalom, let us know how it is. If it is somehow good, might make a good race boat...
will

abotu a year and a half ago, or maybe two, i posed the same question, and after being told by many people not to, i went and looked at it, and it is uber narrow, and doesnt look like it would work very well, plus it is uber shallow.and the cockpit is tiny.
just my advice
cheers

Thanks for the comments.
You saved me £70. A club member had one for sale.
I have wanted to try C1 for some time. I had thought to convert my attak but I like it as a kayak. I'll wait for something else to crop up.

Hi Sandie,
By the next time you're over here to paddle, I should have a C1 creeker, so you'll be welcome to give it a try
BTW - went to a film night a few weeks back and they had some Scottish and English creeking shown.....I'm definitely even more interested in possibilities to come play now, so let me know what happens with your club trip.
Cheers,
Matt

Gravedig, I've got a T-Slalom in the garage. Going to outfit it next time I'm back in MT. Similar dimensions to slalom boats, narrow, but doable.
Prost
