Hi,
I am trying to get the saddle out of my wheelboy to attach bolts on the inside, do i have to remove the front pillar foam...?
It seems as though it wont come out unless i do.
Any help appreciated i spent all last night trying to get the thing out.
I just hope it goes back in.
Cheers all.

As I recall...
As I recall you do...you end up taking EVERYTHING out. That said, mine was one of the first here, and the newer models are slightly different (e.g. they actually have graphics and grab loop / tie down straps (I'm jealous!)). Just take your time, take it slow, and make sure you've removed ALL the bolts that hold the aluminum stays in, including the ones in the front and back of the carbon plate on the INSIDE (it makes it easier).

bolts...
I agree with the complete gutting of the boat to get to the saddle mounting points.
If I recall 4 bolts in the lower front, 4 in the lower rear of the saddle area and 2 on the top front pillar. It was sort of a puzzle for me at first so I had to call for help as well, but once down the path of customization I got pretty quick at removing and installing the "guts". Other WB owners were very helpful on the forum!
Just make sure to take your time so you don't strip any bolts.
Let us know how it works.

Col,
If you get a holesaw and drill a big 2.5" or 3" hole in the top of the console right where you want to install the strap anchors on the side you don't have to remove the saddle at all.The hole will allow adequate acess to the inside of the console to get the washer and nut inside and to tighten everything down.
As lazy as I am , that's what I did and I am sure it saved me a lot of time .

Cheers guys,
Would just like to say how refrershing it is to come to a site totaly dedicated to C boating, with no kayak distractions.
My saddle is now out of the Wheelboy i have drilled holes and attached straps. Just have to get the saddle back in now and remeber where all the screws go. I am sure i will figure it out.
Good to have somewhere to ask questions, i am currently kitting out my CU Fly my Wheelboy and my Zastera Mezzana race boat, my house is full of mini cell foam and evo stick
keep it C

Simply way of getting straps attched
HI
Simplest way to get straps in correct placing for me is to drill an 25mm /1 inch hole to saddle top (center) between yuor legs. drill 5 mm holes to sides for bolts and you good to go without any extra work. same works in old dagger saddles too ....
