Check out the Class V site on cboats.net home page. Their construction should be really good.

Check with Foti too. FYI the Edge "can" be a wet boat.

Check out Milbrook Boats (Kaz) http://www.millbrookboats.com/ stuff for slalom specific... faster and drier... money better spent.

like it a lot. But, I do bust it up some too. This past fall I ran War Woman Creek in it and had to make stern repairs that evening.

I had a Wenonah Edge made from "tough weave" that weighed as much as plastic (more!) and would have stopped bullets. I sold it after deciding that if I was going to paddle glass it needed to weigh something under 70#... I thought it rather twitchy compared to my Mohawk Viper, but that may be been due to the net weight of paddler (200#) and boat...
