I got my new H3 255 a couple of days ago. It already has excellent C-1 outfitting, but I'm wondering how far forward I should be in the cockpit.
I've heard that H3's make great conversions provided you trim them slightly bow heavy- trim them flat and they're not so great. Is there any truth to this?

Hello Larry,
I am out here, and I'm starting to think about boating again (even though I have been snowboarding 4 times this past week). I am cutting off the snowboarding at the end of March so I can get in boating shape. We have been getting pounded with snow this March and conditions are superb. But enough of that sort of heretical non-boating kind of talk
.
I have paddled Larry's H3 255 and I agree it is a great conversion. As I recall it seemed neutrally balanced to me.
SYOTR,
Bruce
