Dagger Outfitting Question

Post by jscottl67 »

I am getting started on outfitting a Dagger Cascade with a Dagger/Percection saddle installed. I've pulled all the foam and actually pulled the saddle out as well to make it a little easier to get things done.

On to the question. I have the foam off, but need to get some foam residue and the old adhesive off of the saddle. What is the best way to get everything clean before I start installing new foam/neoprene?

Thanks

Jeff:

Try heating it up with a hair dryer or very carefully with a heat gun. It should roll up with your fingers or a dull putty knife pretty easily. Before heating, get as much of the foam off as you can as it will insulate the glue.
