I need a new spray skirt to fit typical older race/squirt boats (Viper, Zealot, Acrobat).
Who makes them? Who sells them? Which are the best?
Thanks mates!

MountainSurf.
Not the cheapest but over the last 9 years, I've had great service out of them.
If you're going to all the trouble of using a skirt, you might as well be dry.

You can order Snap Dragon spray skirts to fit slalom boat cockpits through Davey Hearn (see link on the home page of this web site). Dana Chladek at Rapidstyle (
www.rapidstyle.com) also sells similar C-1 slalom skirts manufactured in England, which are about $25 cheaper. I have one of each for different canoes that my son paddles, but haven't used either long enough to give you feedback on durability.
The Rapidstyle skirt is a tight enough fit that my son has trouble getting it on without help. We ordered the second skirt from Davey because my son's race boat has a larger than standard slalom cockpit and there was no way that the standard Rapidstyle skirt would have fit. Fortunately, Davey can have Snap Dragon custom size the skirt for the cockpit. This skirt also turned out to be a tight fit that is difficult for my son to get on alone, but as he's getting older he's it managing better. When I tested the skirt myself, I found it tight but manageable for an adult.

In addition to Mountain Surf, you can try Snapdragon:
http://www.snapdragondesign.com/
or
Rapidstyle:

Davey Hearn carries Snapdragon as does NRS. Call them for the exact fit as the web interface may not have what you need.

I think Davey Hearn might have some in stock- Snap Dragon says they are delayed on custom skirts, I'm still working with them on the tube placement for the Sith's but its a super dry skirt.

Bill,
You don't need a custom skirtb for the Sith, the cockpit is designed for a standard C1 slalom skirt.
]That's what I am using and also what Gwyn and Martin from Shaggy Designs themselves use.

Check to be sure that your Viper & Acrobat cockpits are the same size. I called Mountain Surf & they sent me a skirt. It fit my Viper fine, but was loose on the Acrobat. I called Mountain Surf & they wanted tracings of both cockpits & the measurement for the tunnel placement. I returned the skirt along with my tracings. They made a new skirt that fits both boats & is very dry.

there is a peak uk top-n-deck thats uber comfy, and it fits my zealot, as well as a friends new vajda lizard. its very stretchy neoprene, so im sure you would have no problem fitting it to a c1 sized cockpit.
a friend can fit his slalom k1 sized one to his playboats with a keyhole cockpit, its a stretch, he says, but it works.
cheers

I find that with age and increasing avoirdupois, I no longer need a spray skirt for small composite c-1 cockpits. I do have to "burp" the boat to get all my stuff settled in.....
