Boat trim....

The post and discussion as to the new shorter race boats, reading the relating design info 8) , and some recent unplanned time in a hole  , got me thinking about boat trim.

What do folks like in terms of trim....
A. Bow heavy
B. Stern heavy
C. Neutral
D. Trim... what the heck is trim
E. Just happy the darn thing is floating

Feel free to elaborate per type of boat OC and C (i.e.: creeker, river runner, play, squirt, etc.).

I have my thoughts and preferences but looking to see what others think and why (could this change my thinking.. probably  )!

Thanks in advance!

my flirt C. (c1 conversion playboat) is a bit to the back, but mostly neutral, so that it sits fairly flat when hole riding etc.

my fink between B. and C. (creeker) is a bit to the rear, but i want to move it a bit forward to that it is still to the rear, but a bit less so, i want to keep a light bw, bow the stern catches a bit much as is.

zealot C. (race) is about neutral, but the design is such that the bow sits a bit higher than the stern so ti works out, and when you spring the bow rises quite a bit.

cheers

I like my boats just stern-side of neutral.

I can see where I'm wearing out my Outrage bottom towards the stern, so I'm adding a shim on the saddle to trim it more neutral.

I like my boats stern heavy- though not as much as the longboating crew- - My factory outfitted viper 11 came bow heavy and it was very slow and WET-

Theres no stern/neutral its neutral or freakin stern, sheesh.

When Im swimming it doesnt occur to me....

I prefer neutral or very lightly biased to the stern.

Main thing is that the part of me closest to the sky looks likes :) and not like (_|_).

I try to find the balance between pearling and unintentional stern squirts. most of my conversions have ended up 1/2" stern heavy. I'd rather think about my stern edges than pearl.
