I've just accepted a job offer in Denver so I'll be relocating from Tennessee at the end of May. I'm looking for some people to boat with and thought this would be a good place to start. Thanks -Greg

Greg,
Some Colorado clubs:

My wife (K-1) and I (C-1) are retired, we spend June through August in Glenwood Springs--'bout 160 miles west of Denver. We know where all the geriatric and handycapped put in's and take out's are located. Happy to help.

Welcome to Colorado
Get in touch with the RMCC -- rockymountaincanoeclub.org -- or give me a call 303-444-3979. I'm the instructor for the canoe club, slalom paddler, etc. Be sure to check out the slalom course in Golden right away; it'll be a closer drive for you than for me. There are quite a few OC paddlers here, and we need more OC folks. Looking forward to hearing from you. Be sure to get in touch soon--the water's coming up!!

Hey,

There are not very many of us but we try to get out and paddle as much as possible. I am in the Denver area and you are welcome to paddle with me any time.

We will be having a Rodeo series starting in the end of May and I am alwas trying to get more c-1er to come out and have some fun. This could be a good introduction the Colorado Front Range scene.

drop me line,

Gary

Always looking for paddling buds.
Like to paddle class 3-4, little 5. Ill drive 1.5 hrs for day trips, more for multiday. Schedule is somewhat tight. Weekends work for me.

All of you Colorado C-1er need to come down to the Golden Community Rodeo Series. I will make sure that there are prizes of equal value for US.

This event is a fun local event and points will accumulate over the four weeks. We will start May 31st and continue in June on the 7th, 14th, 21st.

Gary-
do you know if any of the other CO rodeos will have a C-1 class this year? I'm leaving to head out that way tomorrow (c-boat is already on the van) and I think Seth will also be out at some point this June as well.
