Congrats on the site upgrade. Your work is appreciated!

Can you explain why buying "sponsorship" items is sponsorship, but paying the same amount of money on other items isn't?

Just curious about why, and whether/how it makes a difference to you whether I buy a cap with a different logo vs. a sponsor cap for another buck or 2??

Pat.

sponsorships....

You'll notice a significant difference in price between the "normal" items and the "Sponsorship" items. The markup on most merchandise is mininal ($1 to $5) while the markup on the sponsoship items is significantly higher (hence the "sponsorship").

You'll also note that for each level of Sponsor you end up purchasing 1 or more items (1 item for "lowest" level, all 3 for the "highest").

I wanted to get C gear out there at reasonable prices (hence low markup), but also give folks a chance to sponsor the site and be recognized for it.

I had hoped to group the items together, but Cafepress does not allow that yet.

Thank you for your interest 8)

Adam

just curious

Did you consider the old "open boat, open mind" slogan as a sticker? Or is that trademarked by some other organization? I've seen a few on vehicles at putins, and always thought it'd be a neat one to stick on the fairing.

Any other ideas?

We plan on adding new items over time, and removing old ones.

Any ideas are most welcome! I'll add the "Open Boat, Open Mind" to start the list, and C if anyone has it TM yet.

question...

Weird, it showed up properly in the Preview, just not after I submitted it. Wonder if it's because I have the ="user" in it or not.

Apparently there's a bug in our version of phpBB causing this. Wonder if I just fixed it...
