Has anybody glued a D-ring to a plastic boat? What kind of glue would you use?

There is a poster on Alabamawhitewater.com- bamaboater who found an epoxy that held d-rings to plastic. I bought a prelude he had done this to, but- this prelude was crosslink plastic, not linear.
