New Shaggy Designs C1 proto

Yesterday I got to take a few rides in the newest Shaggy C1 prototype (Thanks Gwyn and Martin!) at Babyface on the Ottawa.
The boat is a very early prototype, based on the hull of a production Shaggy Saint kayak, but with a completely new C1 specific deck with redistributed volume and cockpit.
The boat shows great promise, once on the hull, the boat bounces nicely, is really fast for such a short boat and carves incredibly well . I am sure someone who, unlike me, can actually perform wave moves will be able to give more valuable comments, but I had a great time just carving around on the wave.
If anyone paddles the Ottawa this Summer, go to River Run and ask for Gwyn, you may be able to get to try it as well.
martin a.k.a. the great gonzo!
