The Upper Yough race is saturday, july 22nd according to the deep creek hydro website. Let's get some more c-boaters out there this year. Bernie, Alden, Will, anyone?

Jay,
you bet I'll be there. should be a good. im not looking that far ahead though. we were out at Center Lines today practicing for the Great Falls race on Saturday. should have at least three C-1ers in it too. grace under pressure is a serious cross bow boof - one of my favorite moves in kayaking if you do it right. Either way, can't wait for the Upper Yough! and see you then.

I sure that was some tragic typo! My favortie move in "kayaking" is the "exit"! Seriously, my legs go to sleep...

Jay,

I'll see you there tomorrow. Any idea where/when registration is? Either way, I can't wait to race. I'll look forward to discussing some of the race lines with you tomorrow at the put-in. We had a great Potomac Fest - the C-1 brotherhood was in full effect, with actually four of us turning out for the Great Falls Race. EJ even gave us our own class and gave us prize money. Either way, hopefully the weather will be nice tomorrow (haven't checked), the lines smooth, and the beer flowing.

Cheers,
Alden

Alden,
see you there today or tomorrow. sorry i missed great falls, i had to work last weekend. i don't know when they are having the registration. last couple years it has been before noon in friendsville, which as been kind of a pain in the butt because you then have to sit around for 4 hrs waiting for the race to start. race lines out here are level dependent, looks like the low water lines will be there tomorrow. we'll be at black bear in morgantown tonight if you're in town and looking for something to do.
