In desperate need of 'old-school' round-cockpit skirts to fit equally vintage glass C-2. Old/new/used- any way we can! If you have one and aren't in need- please! If you have been meaning to get back in the beast and haven't for far too long, consider giving the skirt to a new home. If you think you can help I'll send you specs. If you know of any place that might have these relics in stock please pass it along. We are trying to avoid the custom order or the self-crafting. Any info or suggestions are welcome. Please reply to me directly at: kahalabob at yahoo dot com

PS Just read the Tao feedback and I think I peed a little!! Well said!

Check out Maximum Whitewater Performace under the links page on this site. They keep new skirts for race boats (made by Snapdragon) in stock that should fit your boat. I got a skirt for my slalom C-1 from them last fall. Ballpark about $100. Jim

I ordered one on-line from Peak UK online. http://www.kayakstore.net/shop/product_ ... 4a4290191c
A slalom C1 skirt cost me, including shipping, about Can$110 (i.e. unde US $ 100), shipping included! I got it within 10 business days.

They are also very good with warranty issues, I had once a defective item from them and they replced it no questions asked.
The time between me sending them the defective item back to the time I recieved the new item was just over 2 weeks! I recommend them highly.

Where are you and how long can you wait? If you are in the Southeast US, check out the NOC GAF Oct 27-29. There are always some racer types there with piles of old gear for cheap. I picked up skirts for a C-2 project a while back - $10/ea for old but serviceable. You can also find brand new C-1 skirts cheap if you keep your eyes open (i.e. Snapdragon from the AWA tent for $25, Mtn Surf from the NOC for $15). If you can't go, somebody could "take an order".
