I have access to a Prelude hull. It has been gutted and has only a saddle which is not fastened in. The hull is not in bad shape. I need advice on how to outfit it. It is my understanding that not much sticks to the plastic. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

P.S. What si an empty Prelude hull worth anyway?

Hey Brent,

You will almost certainly have to go with a bulkhead system that is held under the thwarts and glued to the foam along the side of the hull. If you have a Mike Yee style saddle, I doubt you will get it to stay in place. The key with the Preludd outiftting is to get the saddle as low as possible and your knees as close to the hull as you can manage.

I'll be at the Gull race next weekend with my Prelude. It may give you some ideas.
