The open boats represented yesterday at the World Cup

The event was held at Rock Island. For those that haven't been there the hole is huge for a canoe.

Jez from Australia tied Eli for 1st place (Jez won on a tie braker)

I had a nice third ride that included multiple ends (in a spanish fly) and ended in a swim!

There was also another competitor (Jeremy) who had a cool looking cut down spansih fly. GhettoJohnny came with his Cu-Fly but unfortuantely missed registration.

It was a great day at an awesome feature. Hopefully next year more open boaters will try it out.

you did a hades of a job yesterday.
we need to set up another event, maybe spring time, somewhere.

John, it was good meeting you yesterday. Hopefully we can paddle at the Gauley this weekend. And you're right, we need to have more oc-1 rodeos.

We can set something up if there is enough inerest. Any good ideas for the location?
