Hey Larry, dude, that sucks that you frelled yours up as well. Mine is def. not 100%
and I was thinking about surgery.. but I did not end up doing it b/c there is a chance that i can get by without it. Did excercises all summer and did not paddle since June.
The rain keeps coming and hopefully we get to do a multiday on the Bedwell this weekend. It's been done once before and is a one day hike in, then 2 days steep creeking, then a power boat shuttle to the nearest town. Should be an adventure, I keep you posted.

Yea Mike, I remember that! I think you guys had a good time. The fall is on Granite Creek out by Port Renfrew. It's the steepest creek on the southern island. There is a mandatory 30 feet falls on it and other fun stuff! When we paddled it last spring, we could not finish er off, so hopefully we'll be back this winter. Levels are hard to hit on that one.

OK, so the Bedwell did not happen. Not enough water. but then my friend
Jakub calls me last Wed and tells me they are one person short for the Clendinning. The next day we went to Whistler for some wilderness kayaking...

Here are some pics. Sorry, only 2 c-boater pics since I am the only c-boater in the group and also the picture dude...

go to:
http://www.bc-ww.com/?page_id=169

then click BC Mainland, then Clendinning Creek.

Shoulder still holds, but I did walk 5 major drops. The run is class 4/4+ with a couple harder drops, very continuous and takes about 2 days (although you can do it in one day, you want to take some time to enjoy scenery.

Cheers, Jan

Nice! you're making me jealous dude, that looked really sweet.

kayakers are so original. looks there's 5 other guys.. ALL WITH JEFES? but at least one of 'em had some style--the one that brought that big green? tarp. is that custom made or what? i want one.

....how's that solo (with the killer hatch) working? i bet that hatch makes overnighters a little bit easier.

thanks for taking all the cool pics. i know it can be a chore...
