2007 Open Boat Rodeo Nationals

Eli GhettoJohnny and myself have been discussing having an open boat rodeo nationals in 2007. I believe Esquif has told Eli that they would at least provide some type of sponsorship for the event.
Eli and I have also discussed having two classes for the event. An "Open Class" for the Cu-fly, salsa, spanish fly etc... And a "Traditional" or "Long boat" Class for Ocoees, Vipers, Nitros, Vertiges or whatever. We have also discussed having our own open boat judging instead of the same scoring that the kayaks use.
Our one big question is WHERE SHOULD WE HOLD THE EVENT? We've come up with hades Hole, Rock Island, and the Gauley as options but there are drawbacks to all 3. Our goal would be to have a hole that would be deep enough for open boat enders, forgiving enough that people wouldn't be afraid to come and at a location that people would be willing to drive to.
Anyone with any recomendations please feel free to post. We would like to have the event set at least 6 months ahead of time in order to be able to promote it and give people enough time to plan to come. We would like to get as many people to compete as possible and try to make it a fun layed back event (back to what open boat rodeos were like when they were on the ocoee back in the early 90's)
