GAF?

Post by sbroam »

Any of y'all going to the NOC GAF? I'll be there with one or more of my youngsters, taking as many trips (shorter) down river as I have kids. The three old enough to go all sound like they want to... We have a site at Lost Mine reserved.

Bump. We'll be there by dinner time Friday, camping at Lost Mine. Anybody want to try a full cut Viper? Planning to paddle Friday afternoon at least, exact plans will depend on weather and kids. May try to paddle again on Sunday, too.

Scott,

I am going to be there Friday after lunch thru Sunday w/ the wife as shuttleb**** (<---that b**** can mean bunny... uh, I mean does mean it). I am going to paddle the Quake Friday, maybe and abbreviated run from Pattons to Ferebee, depends on when we get up there...

Saturday I am going to take the Prophet down the Ocoee before the headhunt. A bunch of CCC folks will be there and they are organizing a trip...Sunday, I dunno ??

Staying at Big Nantahala Campround on the river upstream (not sure, but close) from gorgarama. Look for the blue/white Quake and teal Prophet on top of a tan Landcruiser...

I'll be there Saturday about noon. I'll have my son with me so we will be doing a short(er) Nanty trip

If anyone want to demo a specific boat let me know and I'll try to accomodate.

Bump...For those going to GAF my cell is (919) 920-3662. With the rain coming, I have spoke w/ a few that may be running the Tellico or the Chatooga on Saturday...I will be on either one of those if they are up instead of the Ocoee...Give me a call...Will be getting there about 2 tomorrow...
