Just to let you all know, I will be paddling in WV this weekend (Upper Yough on Friday, New/Gauley on Saturday /Sunday and probably Lower Yough on the way back on Monday) and Gwyn and Martin from Shaggy Designs have been so kind 8) (Thanks again guys!) to let me borrow their Shaggy Saint based C1 proto for the trip :D :D .
The boat has the same hull shape as the Shaggy Saint kayak http://www.shaggydesigns.com/ , but a different C1 specific deck with the appropriately modified cockpit position and volume distribution. It is almost identical to what the final production boat will look like (I have seen the plug of the final deck).
If anyone would like to try the boat out during this weekend, you can either PM or e-mail me or call me on my cell (647-828-4189).

Cheers

PS: PAC and JFD have first dibs on trying oit on Monday!

Isn't that Isaac's boat? Or was that not a saint?

msims, yes and no.

While Isaacs Boat is a Saint, it is ebn early prototype of the Kayak version (#2) that was later on converted in a C1.

Between it and the production version of the Saint kayak there were 2 more prototype versions that changed and improved the boats handling quite substantially. This boat is faster and carves better.
And while the deck on the one Isaac has is esseentially still a kayak deck, just with a c1 cockpit installed, this one has an entirely redesigned C1 specific deck.
They look quite differently and also paddle quite differently.

msims is talking about a different Isaac. ...
The big difference between proto#2 and the current one is less the deck than the hull shape... and yes, the boat IS sweet 8) ...
