It looks possible that the Haw might get water this Saturday, anybody free if we get rain?

A possibility. No rain here yet, but keeping an eye to the west. Takes about 16 hours to really peak after the rain starts, so hopefully some heavy rain hitting about now :D

Levels aren't up yet, but we should watch for the weekend. It started raining in Apex this morning around 5-just in time to wash the chemical cloud down on us!

Jeff,

Unfortunately no water has even hit the upper tribs of the Haw or the Haw River gauge yet. Once it hits the Haw River gauge, it takes 14-16 hours or so to hit the Bynum gauge. We need to start getting significant rain in Greensboro--->South of Greensboro and Burlington by 9 or 10 o'clock tonite or it likely won't be up for a good run tomorrow.

My wish is for the Upper Tar. They got rain last night and the gauge is already bumped up a bit and they are getting more right now...If neither is up it will be local on the Lower Little at -3, -2 and Knee rock...

Pray to the rain gods.....NOW
