boats

hi as I've said before im thinking bout getting into c1 and i'm a kayaker.Iwas wonderin wat would be the best route to go down should i buy a ready made c1 like a sith or a wheelboy or convert a boat

Depends on how much cash you have and what's available, IMO... there's lots to choose from - getting a used bigger boat might be a good way to get into it.. if you can afford a new one and you're committed there are some good boats in the mix - see below!

If you already have a kayak it might be quickest and easiest to convert...

regardless of which way you go, you will have to outfit the boat to you. I have done both, and they took about as much time to get set to me. I outfitted a flirt took like 2 days, and then on water finishing stuff. my fink was about the same to add in thigh straps (because I had to create a rib for mounting the bottom of the strap to.) I tihnk the Sith would be alot easier to paddle C style than most conversions due to the speed and stability, (I have not paddled one, just dreamt of buying one for a while). but both methods work.
I guess I may have just muddied the water.
oh well, food for thought.

try borrowing a boat

Try borrowing a boat, than you can come up with likes and dislikes of that particular boat and go from there. I think that would be a nice starting point.
