Well, as far as I am concerned if someone can handle an Oxygen without getting thrashed, he can pull of whatever pose he wants

Actually the pose and the Oxygen in the background have the same origin. This photo is of a kayaker who wants to look "tough," hence the pose and the props.

I wasn't really thinking "tough" when I saw the pose...was just wondering where the funky DEVO hat was
