The Paradigm: 10'8", hard edges "for the committed boater"...
Thoughts? Rumours?

Design breakthough? 5 in rocker same as an Ocoee, about the same length as a mohawk rodeo or dagger phantom . Hard chimes is hardy new. Looks to me more like tweaking the edges of already proven designs. Dont get me wrong tho, Im glad a company is still in the open boat business!

It's the same as music. It's all been done before, people are just finding different combinations to mix it up and keep it new interesting.

So, you put more weight on the designer rather than the manufacturer.
Even if you don't expect much from Bob Foote (what did he ever do to you guys? the Genesis and Rival sure got a lot miles for what they were at the time, and I know some small paddlers who love the Phantom), you don't have faith in Esquif?
I'm still leaning Zephyr if I were get a new boat, because of Twin-tex and speed, and I'm just not really a Zoom or Tareau guy, but I'll be listening to anyone who's test driving a Paradigm.
Seems like it might appeal to those who've been paddling Detonators.

Zephyr speed? I guess speed is a relative perception. But a short boat with an upturned, flattish area under the bow is not going to win any slalom races in the cruising class.
