Yes ... Glenn guessed right ... I'm the paddler. We ran the Grand Canyon with Bob Foote and Karen Knight at the end of August this year and had a blast.
Karen did most of this year's trip in a kayak. Bob did the trip in the new Esquif boat, the Zephyr.
My cartwheel ender on the video clip was actually a lucky break! You aim for the explosion of white just right of the "V" and pray. The real work was bracing like heck with a boat full of water through the big waves that followed!

I worked a bagage boatman on the Canyon, not my kinda of canoein, big water scares me I'll stick to creeks. Next week when I go from dial up to DSL maybe I can watch the video
