Looks like Mohawk is already producing canoes and has some ready to sell.

C'mon man we need more info than that. What did you hear, and where? The Mohawk web-site is still out of action. Who is building what where, and how can I buy one?

Recheck web site and you will see Probe 12 and 14 foot boats

Recheck their web site. I looked last night. Click whitewater canoes. They have 12 PRobe 12s and 12 of a 14 foot length.

As of Tuesday, October 10, 2006 Mohawk Canoe changed ownership. As many of you may know, getting a new Mohawk was impossible for the last year. Mohawk canoes will be made in Ft. Smith, AR and will be available in the first quarter of 2007 (My hope is to have boats available late January). For more information, check out the website: www.mohawkcanoes.com If you have any further questions, e-mail me at stu132u@aol.com Mohawk will still have the best quality in open boats at the best available price. We look forward to serving the open boaters.

Word from Louie is, Mohawk will be at the "It Ain't Louie CBoat Fest '07".

Mad River is thinking about getting in on the action.

Esquif will not only be there, but will be giving away a "Hot" new boat! :D

Whitewater boat production was slated to be located in Fort Smith, AR.

If timing is right, would be happy to help out with delivery of a Mohawk to the East when I make trip for my own purposes for paddling.

Hey, Wendy! Still got that cabin near the 'Berry? KIm says hi!
