Anyone in Charlotte, NC over the holiday?

Post by dccjon »

Visiting family in NC this weekend and I'm thinking I'll give the new ww park a try on x-mas eve. Anyone else paddling in the area Sunday or Tuesday?

I was thinking about heading down that week because I have some time off.

Is it open Christmas week?

Hey Dayton Canoe Club Jon,

I have my son Xmas weekend so I cant paddle- but I could probably go to Wilson Tuesday morning for an early run- the park doesnt open till I'm already at work :(

I think they schedule to open about 4 winter weekdays

www.mrponline.com might be another good place to post

Training Camp

Post by C1Dub »

There is a slalom training camp at the course Dec. 26-31. I don't know if it will still be open to the public on the other channels. I would call ahead and ask. http://www.usnwc.org/
