I have always used vynabond for both vinyl d rings and foam installation. Is there a better way to adhere the foam? Also, can I get good adhesives at the local hardware store? My local boat shop always has expired vynabond so I have to mail order.

For Minicell DAP contact cement is the way to go.

Available at every hardware store. Sand and clean both surfaces. apply first coat. LET IT DRY. apply second coat. LET IT DRY. stick 'em together.

Once they touch they will stick so get it right.

Oh, usually I go over the surfaces with the heat gun just before I stick them. seems to reactivate the glue.

D rings. For Royalex Vynabond

For Royalite. See many posts below.

Hey Chris, what's available at every hardware store? Maybe Weldwood contact cement in the red can. :D

If you have a supply house for carpet installers in your area Roberts 1092 contact adhesive is even stronger than the DAP
