I am looking for a source of 1/2 inch neoprene foam to finish my OC-1 saddle. I used to get it at NOC but they do not carry it anymore.

Thank,
Sandy

They don't carry it any more? Really?

I'm sure Davey Hearn at Sweet Composites could hook you up with some. *

Check under the Paddling Links, or just click on teh Sweet Composites logo at the top of the page:)

If they don't have what you're looking for check out Kayak outfitters.com (link on the paddling links page) - they have a good selection too, and are good folks, even if they aren't Cboaters

If anyone is around New England and needs little bits (3x4 blocks, good for ankle blocks and other small outfitting) let me know - I have A LOT of foam bits and I hate tossing them...I'd be happy to GIVE someone some for free....

Wallmart carries neoprene in arts and crafts section

in colors I was told recently by a kayaker who uses it to finish his outfitting. I don't know if it 1/2 inch thick. I think he said it was thinner than that.

they don't have 1/2, but they've got a 3/8, 1/4, and 1/8 at kayakoutfitting.com http://kayakoutfitting.com/details.php?pageID=2.2. I'm pretty sure this is the stuff you're after, which is a bit different from neoprene with nylon on it (think wetsuits and sprayskirts)

even though it's from KAYAKoutfitting.com, I'm pretty sure it'll work on OC-1's as well
