ACA Whitewater Open Canoe Downriver and Sprint National Championships scheduled for the 10-15 July, 2007 on the Youghiogheny River at Ohiopyle, PA.

Races will be on the lower Yough. Thursday, July 12 through Sunday, July 15. Practice will be on Tuesday through Wednesday. The races will be early in the day to avoid the raft traffic & free up the afternoons for more practice runs.

I have the info & registration forms in word if anyone wants them just shoot me a message through the board & I'll forward them. Adam or Kenneth, if you want to post the info I can send the forms to you.

Souds good! I think I may need to find a boat as well. I don't think the Zephyr will be very fast for that, but you never know.

Try to find either an Old Town Penobscot or a Wenonah Sundowner. The Penobscot is pretty popular for downriver. Most folks like the 16 for solo & the 17 for tandem. I think the Sundowner is a hair faster, but you don't see as many of those.
