New Glue Review?

For $400 or what's behind door #2, who can tell me the name of the "new" adhesive for glueing stuff to Twintex?
Inquiring minds want to know!

Any D-rings that are the original (contact-cementy looking) glue need to be pulled up and the glue residue removed. I use a plastic buffing disc and some acetone. Once this is done, I would prefer to use new d-rings, because the old ones take forever to clean. I have a template to help apply pressure once we use the new glue. The total process if you reglue all the d-rings takes about 12 hours...but the time we actually would work on it is only 5 minutes (4 times)...not including the cleaning prepwork."
It also requires a special applicator gun that is kinda pricy (>$50?). Didn't get a price on the glue. He offered loan of the gun, but I haven't worked out when I could do that (maybe at the Louie-Canoie-Party). In the mean time I am planning on a bulkhead (maybe not permanent).

i have a 3M applicator gun and nozzles if you need to borrow it , i also have axcess to the glue
it worked great when i used it to apply a vinyl kidney rings to the bottom of my old spanish fly

I think the problem with the glues is not if they work right away (like the old glue), but if they keep working for a year and don't let go at some unexpected time for unknown reasons... The Zephyr I bought had been the NOC store demo - it had been there for at least a couple of months and seen some use. I couldn't pull them up when I bought it - and I tried - yet they failed when under no remarkable strain after a handful of runs at home. So, all that to say I don't think you could get a reliable test during one week.

over 50 trips on class II to III+, low water runs My boat was the group that was sent out using the new glue
