I want to know what type of boat! That looks to be quite a ride! Way cool! Paul C.

Agreed...that looks like a far out ride...and right up MikeW's alley despite what he says (I'm sure the paddler wouldn't be bow stalling through Robin's Nest :o ...)

I would also like to know the boat and cut

I think there's a Cascade under there. It's a real powered up spot. :o

well

If there is a cascade in there I am truly impressed and unworthly!

To get that deep in that big of a boat would be an understatement as to that spot being "powered up"! Not to mention the skill sets required to stay trim and true through it!

Very impressive and a great pix!

A couple of Years ago I actually did once an unintentional mystery move 8) in the Finkenmeister, which is not exactly a low volume boat either, during a high water (16 or 17) run on the Ottawa.
We were surfing at Angels Kiss, when I surfed over a bit too far to the right, straight into the pourover behind the big rock there :o . I disappeared, felt like hitting an elevator, and was gone for several seconds, long enough for my two buddies to actually ask weach other where I had gone. All I remember is that it got pretty dark and quiet down there, and then I reappeared, still upright about 30ft downstream. That was one of my coolest rides ever :D !

You will have to try it again in your sith!

Frankly, I am a bit worried trying the same thing in the Sith. As deep as I went in the Finkenmeister, I think I might go all the way to the Bottom in the Sith , which has, after all, only a a little more than half the volume of the Finkenmeister!

I'll try and find Will and see what he has to say.
