Tallulah Gorge Release

The Tallulah Gorge Release in North Georgia is coming up! For April there are two weekends the river will release - April 7-8 and 14-15. Saturdays will be a 500 cfs release and Sundays will be 700 cfs release.
Not interested in running the river? Willing to volunteer to help with registration/parking? There are some openings for volunteers on the weekend of the 14th and 15th. A shift is usually 3 hours long, and you will be allowed to be down at the river before all the boaters are launching (no one is allowed down the ramp besides volunteers and boaters).
The Gorge seriously needs some help, and there will be some definite benefits for volunteers (not sure on the details). If nothing else, you will get an excellent opportunity to meet and talk to some of the southeast's greatest boaters. If you are interested, email me at cory@theoutsideworld.net, or call the store at 706-265-4500 and talk to Cory or leave a message for me.
