I won the boat at Ain't Louiefest

First of all - Thanks to Jacques and Esquif for giving away the Zephyr, this boat is awesome! I paddled the Ocoee on March 25 and this boat really performed. Easy to paddle, dry, and was certainly an eye-catcher. The fact that Esquif gave away a boat to promote openboating and Ain't Louiefest is remarkable, hades this boat could have gone to boost their financial bottom line at the end of the year. Esquif is the only canoe company developing and producing new canoe design Hats Off to Jacques and Esquif!!.
Second - Thanks to Louie and the GDI (the most exclusive canoe club in the country - ask Louie) for putting the event on. Also thanks to everyone that attended. Its pretty impressive to have over 100 OC and C boaters together for a week and getting to paddle 10 different southeastern whitewater rivers (Tellico, Little, Tremont, Chattooga, DSF, Obed, Clear Creek, Nolichuckey, French Broad, and Middle Prong of the Little Pigeon).
If you didn't attend this year - you missed out! Plan to attend next year, it goes generally something like this:
Paddle your brains out on your choice of rivers with your new friends, eat good food, drink cold beer, get up the next day and repeat.
