The Buttercup Slalom Series fielded a full class of C1W this past weekend at the Apple River race as well as a full class of C2W. There here and they're good.

We're going to have to get Caroline Petersen in a C-boat.

Or maybe she's already got one...

That girl can paddle! :o

I can't even dream of being that good.

Bob, you're right on the money about getting her in a C-boat. She's awesome in OC, can you imagine how good she'd be w/o the sides on the boat? Man, she's good.

Momentum!

If you look at how Caroline paddles, her boat NEVER stalls. It's always in motion. Good carving initiations each time. Also, check the paddle - it rarely leaves the water, always feathering, always in control.

Very smooth! 8)

I've seen Carol paddle c-2 mixed a bit. I will say that Carol and her partner were faster than her partner and his ICF/USACK required (at the time) male partner, and would have had a pretty good shot at making the US team on the 2001 Ocoee team trials course, if they had been permitted to race....edg

You are both correct...

... she "IS" a better C1'er, than she is in OC1
