Random Acts of Amusement

Hmmm...boated the local class IV/V creek (Weisse Lutschine) on Sunday in my new creeker. I think I like that boat (converted M3 243). I still haven't got it figured out (3rd time in it) but it certainly looks after me in heavy water better than the Wheelboy. :) Of course I also remembered that landing too flat off a 6m drop causes a certain amount of whiplash (it's been a few years) and that landing said drop on a brace results in your t-grip ejecting from your hand, followed by an urgent need to refind said t-grip to roll :) Happy days

In another random amusement, a friend just sent me the following in a joke email, and I thought I had to share it:

From Children's Science Exams
Q: Explain one of the processes by which water can be made safe
to drink.
A: Flirtation makes water safe to drink because it removes large
pollutants like grit, sand, dead sheep and canoeists.
