Nice work marshall, but you did not answer the most important question in my mind, how much contact cement fumes did you inhale during thatjob so far... ...

On that note , still not done outfitting that Riot Groove proto I picked up the other day, gotta glue a foam bulkhead in now... Contact cemment fumes, here I come......

Martin, not enough fumes so far. There has been very little gluing, I expect to catch a nice buzz when I glue in the front end.

There have been some epoxy fumes but they pale in comparison to good contact cement fumes.

Sims, I use a mash created from boiling down my old high school gym tightie whities and river booties from a 350 lb female boater with corns. This adheres quite well to the red plastic but there is a totally different formula for the blue stuff.

Ah. I always wondered the history behind "Corn youth alliance" Here I just thought it was a secret way of saying "Cover Your large steaming pile of dog doo hole"

It must be very satisfying drilling holes in that nice brand new Jackson.... Kind of like tearing the tag off a brand new matress

Mshelton - are you concerned at all about battle scars with the bolt location? I'd be... probably because I spend far too much time in my super fun doing stern prys. I suppose if you can actually paddle you prolly don't do too many stern prys in a boat that small. sigh- nevermind.

I think they are a little ahead of where my had would rest on a stern pry. If it's a problem I may put a plate over them or something ghey like that.

Too long, there's no water here so I haven't been real motivated to finish it.
